The Gold Triathlon Coaching Package
If you desire the most attention possible to help you qualify for Kona, earn that age-group
national championship, or if you just enjoy the peace of mind that frequent discussions with your
coach can provide, this package is for you. You will enjoy unlimited phone calls and emails to
coach to be sure that you're on the right track. Your training schedule will be updated weekly.
Initial training sessions will be conducted to obtain lactate threshold levels, strength training
technique, swim form, and a computrainer bike pedal stroke analysis for Stuttgart area athletes.
This will also include a weekly face to face training session for athletes in the Stuttgart area if
desired.
Minimum three month commitment required and a one-time set up fee of $79, which includes an
initial face to face consultation of unlimited duration after completion and return of the athlete
questionnaire. $120/month

The Silver Triathlon Coaching Package
This package is popular with most beginner and intermediate athletes. At your discretion you
may contact your coach several times each month via telephone and/or email. Your training
program will be updated every two weeks, which allows for the inevitable adjustments needed to
progress in the right direction.
Minimum three month commitment required and a one-time set up fee of $59, which includes an
initial telephone consultation (approximately one hour) after completion and return of the athlete
questionnaire. $85/month
Each of the above coaching packages will include the following features:
Based on your race season schedule and overall goals, a periodized training plan will be
developed. You will be given testing protocols for lactate threshold testing that you will perform
for the swim, bike and run disciplines. We will then determine your training heart rate zones
(there are five of them) for each discipline. From this, and the training plan, we then create your
first 4-week cycle of training. Your training program includes all the swim, bike, and run sessions
you need to complete and on which days of the week to do them. The duration and intensity of
each workout will be specifically detailed, including your warm-up and cool-down. Swim drills will
be specified for each swim workout with an explanation for each drill. Your program will be
properly periodized to ensure you have the appropriate aerobic base, threshold training, peak,
taper and rest periods for your goal races. Your training program will also include strength
training workouts and flexibility exercises to ensure a well-rounded fitness routine
Both the Gold and the Silver Training Packages require a start-up fee. This provides for an
extensive interview where we will determine your sports background, current fitness level,
projected race schedule, training objectives, goals, and time available to train in order to create
an appropriate training roadmap for you. The start-up fee also covers the cost of building a
customized annual training plan based on your entire race season schedule. We do this
regardless of how many 4-week cycles you plan on registering for. It is extremely important for us
to properly periodize your training so that you can arrive at your objective race or races as
prepared as possible. An annual plan allows us to do this. This annual training plan is then
broken down into 4-week cycles, detailed with durations, frequencies and intensities for each
individual workout, that are then sent to you via the online Training Peaks system.
Bronze Training Schedules
For athletes who would like to follow a proven and periodized training schedule at an economical
price, a Bronze Training Package may be just the ticket. An athlete questionairre and telephone
conversation will provide us with the necessary background. A training schedule will then be
designed specifically to meet your goals and will be customized to fit your ability level and time
demands.
The Bronze training schedule can be sent to you in either an Excel or Word format. The Bronze
schedule can be sent via the Training Peaks online system, which gives you the additional
benefits of:
